“Meet the Bacons” is the acoustic duo of Joe & Robin Bacon. They play a variety of rock, classic country, Americana, folk, reggae and blues in Western New York. The couple has performed together at festivals, music venues and events in Western New York for over 10 years. “Meet the Bacons" is from Buffalo, NY and draw influences from great vocal duos such as Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, Simon and Garfunkel, Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris, and more.

The duo has a sound comprised of charming vocal harmonies backed with guitar, harmonica and hand percussion.

The duo has played as "Meet the Bacons" for over 10 years, but have been singing together for over 20 years for various events. Joe Bacon (vocal, guitar, songwriter) has been playing professionally for 40 years and has played on the Comedy Central Network’s Premium Blend syndicated network show with David Alan Grier (In Living Color, Jumanji, Saturday Night Live, Dancing With The Stars), has performed at New York City’s Carnegie Recital Hall, Symphony Space, The Bitter End & more; and has also toured in a van opening for acts such as Run DMC, Smashmouth, Sponge, G. Love and the Special Sauce and Sister Hazel​
